Registration



Registrations are accepted via registration form, online through the Global Social Business Summit 2018 website. Initiator is The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH based in Wiesbaden, Germany.

 Registered participants are entitled to attend all booked event modules. The registration fee only covers the costs for attendance and catering during the day. Accommodation, logistics, etc. are not included.

Registrants will receive confirmation of their registration via email, as well as an electronic ticket. The electronic ticket serves as an entrance card and has to be presented at the accreditation desk. 

The Global Social Business Summit 2018 can only be attended when the registration fee has been received fully in advance.

 The entrance card cannot be transferred to third party without written approval through The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH.

 Payment

 by credit card will be made to our our platform holder WEEZEVENT SAS.

After 15 days, the payments will be made by the platform to The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH, initiator of the Global Social Business Summit 2018.




Cancellation & Refund Policy

Registration cancellations must be notified in writing by email to The Grameen Creative Lab Office in Wiesbaden: info@gsbs-2018.com. 

Cancellations received on or before 15 October 2018 will be refunded 50%. A 80% cancellation fee will be incurred for cancellation requests received between 16 to 31 October 2018. Cancellations made after, as well as “no shows”, are liable for the full registration fee.

Recording and Image Waiver:
The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH reserves the right to broadcast and transmit recorded content via TV, Satellite, Cable, Internet, and any other means of distribution. The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH also reserves the right to capture photographic images during the event and use them for promotional purposes. By participating in the Global Social Business Summit 2018 in Wolfsburg, you grant authorization for the use of these images and content.

Liability

The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH, initiator of The Global Social Business Summit, reserves the right to amend any part of the programme if necessary at any time. The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by delegates or accompanying persons, or loss of, or damage to their personal property as a result of the Summit or related events.

In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH accepts no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance, along with travel insurance.

Personal Insurance

The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH cannot be responsible for healthcare, dental and ambulance services during its conferences. The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH strongly recommends that participants take out comprehensive medical and travel insurance, which should cover the possibility of flight cancellation due to strikes, natural catastrophes and other causes. Therefore, The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH and its local co-organizers accept no responsibility of any nature whatsoever for personal injury, death, loss or damage to property or participants however caused or arising.

Special Assistance

Participants requiring special assistance during the event shall notify their needs to The Grameen Creative Lab four weeks prior to the Summit in order for the organizers to adjust the event for the participant.

Data privacy

In registering for The Global Social Business Summit, relevant details will be incorporated into a networking tool for the benefit of all delegates. All data collected over www.gsbs-2018.com is just for internal use and won't be published openly. Participants are responsible for advising The Grameen Creative Lab GmbH if they do not wish to have their personal data included in the networking tool or distribution list for future events.

Force majeure

An event of force majeure is an event or circumstance which is beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the party affected and which by the exercise of reasonable diligence the party affected was unable to prevent provided that event or circumstance is limited to the following:

(a) riot, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not) acts of terrorism, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection of military or usurped power, requisition or compulsory acquisition by any governmental or competent authority;

(b) ionizing radiation or contamination, radio activity from any nuclear fuel or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radioactive toxic explosive or other hazardous properties of any explosive assembly or nuclear component;

(c) pressure waves caused by aircraft or other aerial devices travelling at sonic or supersonic speeds;

(d) earthquakes, flood, fire or other physical natural disaster, but excluding weather conditions regardless of severity; and

(e) strikes at national level or industrial disputes at a national level, or strike or industrial disputes by labor not employed by the affected party, its subcontractors or its suppliers and which affect an essential portion of the works but excluding any industrial dispute which is specific to the performance of the works or this contract.

Where a Force Majeure Event has an adverse impact on:
the ability of The Grameen Creative Lab to hold the Global Social Business Summit at the planned venue or on the planned date or the Global Social Business Summit generally, then Grameen Creative Lab shall be entitled but not obliged (in its sole discretion) to either provide alternative facilities or venue for the Global Social Business Summit and/or reschedule the Global Social Business Summit.

Any of your fees received by The Grameen Creative Lab shall be applied to any rearranged or rescheduled Global Social Business Summit held pursuant to this condition and you shall not be entitled to object to such rearranged or rescheduled Global Social Business Summit or have any right to claim any compensation in respect thereof.

If Grameen Creative Lab is unable or elects not to rearrange or reschedule the Global Social Business Summit pursuant to this condition, then you will (as its sole remedy) be entitled, in your sole discretion, to receive either a refund or credit note in respect of your fees received by The Grameen Creative Lab, in each case less an administration charge equivalent to 20% of the total amount of your fees (which The Grameen Creative Lab may (in its sole discretion) either deduct from any refund or credit note or invoice you separately). For the purpose of this condition “Force Majeure Event” means any event arising that is beyond the reasonable control of The Grameen Creative Lab including (without limitation) to speaker or participant cancellation or withdrawal, supplier or contractor failure, venue damage or cancellation, health scares, industrial dispute, governmental regulations or action, military action, fire, flood, disaster, civil riot, acts of terrorism or war. These terms and conditions shall apply in respect of any rearranged or rescheduled Global Social Business Summit organized by The Grameen Creative Lab pursuant to this condition.
